Another Huge Buck killed in Harrison County

Postby darren on Fri Nov 21, 2008 9:44 pm

This buck's rack looks physically bigger than the 172" killed back in bowseason. I have the photo but will wait on permission to post it from the hunter. It is a mainframe typical with two awesome droptines. One on each side. I believe it was killed in southeast Harrison county. Probably 20 or less miles from the other huge buck we have the photos of with the beer cans in the back of the truck :o

I know I'm teasing you but we need to do things right

I will fill in the info later today. I understand it has already been published in Marshall Paper.

I think the paper said it was killed around Karnack. Awesome creature. What will he score. Over 170?

It was shot north of I-20. The exit before Waskom near Jonesville or something like that. I will have a lot more information this afternoon if my source follows through!
I understand there are 14 scorable points. I think it is a mainframe 10 with a split on the end of the main beam on the left side. 2 drops and a sticker on the left side.
I have only seen one buck in my life in Harrison county on the hoof that would compare to this deer. It nearly ruined me from deerhunting after 6 weeks straight of trying to get him and seeing absolutely nothing.

Absolutely incredible buck for anywhere much less Harrison county

I also got word today that Robby's brother shot a hoss in southwest Arkansas. Not a whole lot of spread but some major mass

I also heard rumor of a buck shot in Harrison county that had 5-1/2" bases :!: :!: :!: That's getting into Iowa size mass there
