TRAPPING COONS

Postby Horns&Tusk on Thu Jul 15, 2010 6:35 pm

Whats the best way to trap coons around my feeders?? I have alot of them. Is there a season?? I have Hogs and Deer also to keep in mind. No experience on trapping or snaring coons.. I can sell them for $20 to a couple friends I know for eating purposes and get them off my feeders at the same time. ;)

They make a small pipe like trap that will catch the coon but not harm the deer or hogs.

It's hard to beat mackerel for coons. Plus you can just put foil over the top of the can and put it back in the refrigerator for later use. I may buy me a couple for trapping season and sell the hides if I can find a buyer
And yep he's talking about the pipe looking one
