Kid's Fishing Derby the largest.... BEST Yet !!!!!!!!

Postby darren on Sat May 15, 2010 2:54 pm

I think all will agree that todays event was the biggest - best - most blessed yet!!!
Thank you to all you parents that entrusted COA-NETO to share God's great outdoors with your children. We always count it a blessing to spend time with them. Thanks to all the volunteers and members of COA-NETO that made things run smoothly

We did a headcount and there were 64 in attendance with one that had to leave for a total of 65 folks  :!!!: :!!!:
31 Kids came out and fished today      . I saw a bunch of fish being reeled in but maybe Coach14 can fill us in on the number of keepers.

I will put together a slideshow of the photos that I took and post the link here. Also the photographer from Longview News Journal was at the fisheries taking photos so I am thinking some photos will be in Sunday's Longview News Journal.

I didn't keep a count but I believe I cleaned about 25- 30 keepers. All deboned and bagged with the most fish being caught by Chuck!

We had plenty  I sent Coleton and Kayla home with 3lbs of uncooked weiners and all the left over buns. The water is back in the BP shed and the two ice chests are at my house. Debra found the soda pops that were left over. So if you want them back it is between you and her :bang: :bang: Good luck
