So just roughly how much bank do you have available to fish? Back before the lake opened to the public I used to go to Durgeon Bridge and fish around that area but was limited to a very small area.Caught plenty of nice fish back then though.

Well, there are a total of about 8 bridges your can fish from. 1 big one near the discharge, 4 on the cold side, 2 one feeder creeks, and one below the dam. The one below the dam, if you walk into the woods towards the dam, usually produces a ton of 1 to 1.5 pounders. That's about the biggest I've caught there. The feeder creeks come and go production wise. The Hot water bridge has produced some nice eaters, and I lost one there that broke 12 lb florocarbon, freshly tied. I got so mad! LOL The cold water bridges always produce the best for me. Any time of year, I can usually find some there. Anywhere from a 12 lb Op, to three 7.5 lb'ers from a single hole in 45 mins worth of fishing. Talk about a great day! I would say total area to fish would be about two miles worth of bank. maybe more. Heck, there's enough room to do a "bank tournament" out there. Hmmm, not a bad idea! perhaps we should have one. This time of year is my favorite to go because the air is cold and keeps the banks pretty empty of crowds, but the water is warm enough the fish bite pretty good. Now, if it would ever find a steady weather pattern, maybe I could break last years record personal catch.

I like the idea of a bank tourney
